Philadelphia is proud to have recently been named as one of 18 U.S. finalist cities to host the FIFA World Cup in 2018 or 2022. Host nations for both years are expected to be announced in December. We are also delighted to host the U.S. National Soccer Team.s final game before departing for this summer.s World Cup, versus Turkey as part of the Send-Off Series. We plan to send them off in style.

2010 will be the first of two years of Philadelphia hosting the AT&T National PGA Tour stop at Aronimink Golf Club. In the coming years, Philadelphia will continue to host the finest in professional and amateur sports, including the 2011 NCAA Wrestling Championships, 2011 NCAA Women.s Basketball Regional, 2013 NCAA Men.s Basketball 1st & 2nd Rounds and the 2013 U.S. Open (golf) at Merion.
